At least I won't give u red dots if you can enlighten us how to get us out of this mess. And yes, we do want our green card so I don't think we can stop the process or stop spending money on that. Also please advise us how to bring all 70K people under one umbrella?

This might be just a way from DOS to USCIS to say bring their house in order... do not advance dates until you know the what the accurate demand is.....

That item also indicated that if the CIS projections proved to be incorrect, it would be necessary to adjust the cut-off dates during the final quarter of FY-2008. The CIS estimates have proven to be very high resulting in: 1) the �unavailability� of all Employment Third preference categories beginning in July, 2) the �unavailability� of numbers for China and India Employment Second preference adjustment of status cases during September, and 3) the establishment of many October Employment cut-off dates which are earlier than those which applied during FY-2008.
Little if any forward movement of the cut-off dates in most Employment categories is likely until the extent of the CIS backlog of old priority dates can be determined.

Does anyone know the answer wheather they are proceding our DS230 till 17 of August, or next summer we should submit DS230 one more time, and this will last forever???

They are working overtime for it, hopefully 24 hours as well. This is my fear even before this announcement that visa numbers be wasted again.
Maybe we can volunteer to adjudicate each of our own case...lol!
When I was a kid in school the teacher solved the bottleneck (of him/her doing the correction of tests) by having the students mark each others tests.
I'd be happy to adjudicate your case JunRN, if you'd adjudicate mine; heck, I'd even let you use your "current" Bank of America visa in place of a DOS visa :-)

07 case is different. we can't infer much from that. I hope DOS has some insight into the no of pending cases when the move dates like this. I am sure there will be language in the actual bulletin that saves them from flak when the move dates back. The primary aim is to utilize the visa nos. But with all the information available to them the movement should be proportional to the nos available from spillover and etc.,
I don't see what is really different. I am not talking about July 2007. I am talking about May or June bulletin 2007. Do you mean the bulletin on May or June 2007 is to utilize the visa so the dates are not the "real" date? Then how do you know Aug. 2008 move is not for the same purpose? Especially if this movement is caused by spillover.

its generally the case, where these loan officers doesn't understand the Immigration process.
I also had to go thru it. I would suggest to give them a copy of I-140 approval. that is an approved doc, than a pending I-485.
Good part is, the Underwriters generally know about the immigration process and would take 1-140 approval doc as a valid doc.
Dont worry, your loan will be approved.

When the USCIS is doing mistake, we need to ask for fee waiver. If they are nog giving, we should not hesitate to take them to court and make them pay for it. Even one time if we can succeed it will make all the difference.
