Hello there,
I am new to this forum.
Is there any difference in timline to file a GC for sibling in "Family member of a permanent resident in a preference category" AND "Family Member of a U.S. Citizen in a Preference Category".
I am a GC holder right now and would like know, if I should wait to become Citizen or file GC for my sibling now.

I NEED HELP from someone who can direct me in this situation
my h1b expired on june30, 2010 and i filed with the same employer for a new job position related to same profession on june 24 2010. but unfortunately uscis says that they have nothing on their system yet and no receipt of notice by july 20 . my cheques are also not yet cashed. i have fedex receipt proof it being received at uscis center on june 25th 2010. Now what should i do in this situation.
should i file again with premium processing explaining uscis that my file has been misplaced or has not even processed or filed yet though received on june 25th as per fedex receipt and wait in us till what happens.
i will really appreciate any help or comments in this situation

The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports on today's citizenship swearing in of Irish-born James Patrick O'Donnell. gcformeornot is correct. You cannot "transfer" an I-140 approval, but you can keep and use the PD for any subsequent I-140. Once a new LC is approved, a copy of the I-140 approval notice with the 10/2007 PD should be included in the new I-140 submission along with a request to use the old PD on the new I-140 approval notice.

I am from India and currently visiting USA on B2 visa. I recently got a job with a very reputed firm in US and applied for an H1B but my application reached USCIS after the H1B quota was full.
I really want to work for my new employer and would like to know what other options do I have to obtain work permit in USA other than L1 Visa?

If it is a non profit research org or institute of higher education then H1 will not be counted towards quota. On the other hand if you have the credentials you can try for "O" VISA

I have searched lot of threads regrading AC21 when the new is less. I am currently working in a city. I have applied for 485 on July 2. 140 is approved. I am planning to move to rural area in the same state. Since the location is rural, the pay is lower than pay specified in my current labor. Since they also sponsor GC, I am sure the pay is higher than the prevailing wage.
Under these circumstances, is it ok to use AC21. Is it possible to argue that the wage is higher than the prevailing wage in the new EVL to be submitted with AC21.
I am aware AC21 is for "same or similar job". What about pay? ANy issuew with this.

I have applied EAD for my wife... while applying I misspelt my wife's first name and I haven't selected any service center, seems it automatically choosen NSC... but my 485 applied under TSC and the dates here are best like May 20, 2008 and the NBC is Mar 31, 2008...
How can I correct the name, can I do it at the time of finger print?

Hello,
I had E-Filed AP for me and my family on July 7th, 2008. Still it is showing as pending, On December 16th, 2008, I send a request to USCIS for expedite processing, December 26th I received a letter from USCIS that an officer is assigned to our case but after that there is no change in the status.
Can somebody pls suggest any steps that I should take to get my AP approved?

Correct me I am wrong here:
AP allows you to enter US without a valid visa.
EAD allows you to work in US for any employer.
Untill and unless someone utlizes his EAD, he is still on H1 (if he has valid H1) doesn't matter he enters US using AP. Am I correct?
Then question arrises, If H1 holder changes his job then he needs to transfer his H1 only and not use EAD. Is this possible to have H1 renewed and transfered even though one has EAD approved, meaning is it compulsory to use EAD one you get it?

1. After importing Photoshop file in to Blend,right click on any PSD layer that you want to convert it in control.Then choose MAKE IT CONTROL and you can select any style like button etc that you want.
2. Select the control,in properties panel click on event icon then choose event that you want and double click in it ,then you can write the code for that EVENT in Visual Studio.
