My spouse H4 extension was filed in Jan 2011 and I was under impression that receipt is with lawyer. But recently I came to know that it should come to my address, as of today we have not got receipt no. I am still waiting for H1 approval decision and know H1 receipt no.

Is there way for us or our lawyer to get receipt no. for my spouse's H4 application?

Hi,

I am renewing advance parole (i-131 form) for me and my wife. Can some one answer what the "class of admission" means on the form and how do we fill it?

I entered the US as H1-B but moved to EAD status last month.
My wife entered the US on advance parole and is currently working on EAD.

Class of Admission is the status you were admitted into US. You entered on h1b and your wife on AP and thats the class of admission :)

Hello all

I have a question. My wife called TSC today, and she talked to one of the most rudest person in the world. unfortunatelly she forgot to write his information down.

Baiscally, while she was talking my son was bothering her and cryin in a low pitch. The bastard TSC agen had the odesity to tell my wife to take the kid away, and htat is he dying.. you should got help him. Obviouslly he was not saying that because he was nice. He started to laguh. I am so furious right now.

So my question is can we find out who this agent was by callin INS and asking them who opened her file last. I sure would love to have few minutes with him one on one. Show him what we do to peace of crap like him if we was back home.

Anyhows, appreciate your answers.

Opponents of Arizona's SB1070 immigration law scored another victory in the courts yesterday. In the case of Friendly House v. Whiting, the court overruled a motion to dismiss the case challenging the law. The judge noted that "Racial discrimination was a motivating factor for [S.B.] 1070�s enactment" which establishes a legitimate constitutional challenge to the law. My friend is in H1. she is in bench since oct 2008. she had only one project for 2 months in 2009. but her employer is paying her also in bench, though the salary is less compared to what she was earning while on project. now her h1 is expiring in july 2010. now she is planning to use her EAD. but with EAD also she will be with the same employer(consulting firm). she is planning to visit India in may for one month and will be entering US with advance parole, not h1 visa. my question is that as she is in bench for so long time( though getting salary), will it be a problem for her to be back in USA. Is there a chance that she will be asked to go back from Airport as is happening with h1 holders.

Hello! I went to US to work in a summer/work travel experience under a J1 VISA.

My VISA expired on APR/01/2007 , but I sent a letter to USCIS asking to change my VISA status to B1/B2. The letter just arrived at the USCIS Office on APR/02/2007. I kept working until JUN/15.

In JUN/20/2007 I left US back to my home country and later accessing the USCIS site I figured out that my request was processed and denied.

Now I'm graduated in Business and was hired to work in a big company in NYC, they are requesting me to get another J1 VISA (this time J1 Trainee for a 1,5 year).

I would like to know if this kind of situation generates a BAN, or if I will have any kind of trouble in the interview in the US Embassy.

Last time (in 2008) TSC was very fast in approving the cases, NSC was bit slow, thought it would be a good statistic at a glance on approvals.
What is the purpose of knowing which center processed?
