Hi,

I am working on L1 from Company A.
I have applied for L1 to H1 status for year 2008 from comany B. H1 got approved without COS. As COS not done, I continued working on L1 with company A. Now my L1 is getting expired on Aug 2010 and my L1 company want to extend L1.

While applying for my L1 extention, my H1 applival cause any problem.

Please help me to get more info on this. Please let me know if you need more details on this.

I had a really good experience in Nogales last week, I got my visa stamping on the same day of my appointment and the NVS International team was great. I was entered into the United States when I was 8 years old. I was entered on the plane with a fake passport and ever since I've been using my real name. I used my real name for school and college. I'm currently here illegally. I want to start my process of application for citizenship but there is a problem. My lawyer told me to marry under the name i entered with and so i did. Before we started the application he realized i was finger printed under my real name so if i were to apply my finger prints would show already in the system. So the only solution is to change my fake name to my real name (which doesnt have a visa) on the marriage license. How do i go about doing so? and will i still be able to obtain a green card? I reside in massachusetts.

Hello,

I have a I-485 pending with a LIN# and in the NEW instructions there is a lockbox for "I-485 and MSC" combo and a separate filing address for I-485. I'm confused about where a "I-485 with a LIN#" combo (my case) should be sending his EAD renewal documents over to? (Refering to pages 8-10 of I-765 instructions).

My six-year H1B expires Feb 2 2010.
My employer (company A) filed PERM with DOL on July 30 2009.
I have spent a total of 2 months outside the U.S while on H1B status.
I have been on bench since July without paystub.
I am leaving the U.S on October 30 2009 and am interested in returning back
through another company

Can I return to the U.S through another employer (company B) on a new H1B visa after Feb 2 2010... How long would that visa be valid for.

If I cannot get a new visa; can I add the total of 5 months spent outside
the US on the current h1b visa for recapture through another employer (company B) after Feb 2 2010 -- return to the U.S; and then
subsequently apply for a 1-year extension after July 31 2010
based on company A's PERM filing.

Folks, I'm in the current sitation. In 6th year of H1B, aplied for PERM labor pending with ATL processing center for >15 mtonhs. Attorneys are filing for 7th year extension. I need to traval in the next 2 weeks but not confident enough to get everything right, I need my visa stamped aswell, which with the current H1B validity, would be onlyuntil 22nd Oct 2009. I did try to convince my Managers that they file the extension under premium processing and I could get extended visa until Oct 2010, but Attorney advised that it is not necessary and I should be fine to go, get my visa stamped and come back.

2 points I'm concerned about are,
1. Since I have < 6 months validty on current H1B is it safe to travel and I would hopefully have my extsntion reciept number when I go for stamping.
2. Heard lot about denial of entry at POE, I'm trying to avoid certain airports that I has problems (JFK, EWR etc). Not sure I'm doing enough to be safe.

Any advise is greatly appreciated.
